It was Thanksgiving this past year and I of courser wanted to dress up. We ended up not doing anything or going anywhere, since my in-laws were out of town. I pretty much just dressed up for the photo op, it's a skirt I really love and only wore it for my reception outfit on my wedding day, mind you, I was thinner when I first bought this skirt and now it won't zip up all the way. It was either getting the size small or no skirt, I chose to buy it, the pockets are an extra bonus. I'm hoping to add more skirts like this to my wardrobe, more grown up.

High waisted skirt from Rainbow, black top was a gift with a label from Merona, which is a Target brand and heels were also a gift, a very tall gift.

Necklace from Forever 21, the only piece of jewelry I put on for the outfit.
My manicure for the week, been finding some nice glue ons from the Dollar store.

I was meeting up with my aunt and my cousin who is visiting from NY with her son, since they would pick me up at dadeland mall at 11:30am, I thought I would take advantage and come earlier to the mall to walk around. Since the last two times I had come, I hadn't been to Saks and this time I decided to go in and have a look. On the first floor there were so many gorgeous designer handbags and sunglasses, upstairs were the clothes and the shoes, boy was I amazed. I first took a picture of the "bubbles" hanging from the ceiling that I would love as my room decor, then I dove right into Guiseppe Zanotti because I fell I love with the looks.

My next day off is Thursday so I might try these on for my next visit because they were gorgeous.
I also thought these were gorgeous because of the peacock feathers, which I love so much that I did a peacock theme for my 22nd bday in blue and green.
Some Manolo Blahnik heels because I did love the jewels.
Sparkly Jimmy Choo heels in black or silver.
Or some Prada heels in suede.
Found these YSL heels that I would wear, might have to go back and try them on. Definitely my style and color. Since I will be off on Thursday, maybe I will head over again and actually try them on.
I was in the Roberto Cavalli area and thought this dress was gorgeous with the snake around the collar.
Just after the Roberto Cavalli section was the Chanel area with this outfit in the glass display and boy did I fall in love, very classy. I was told by a Chanel associate that I cannot take pictures of Chanel, the rest of the store yes, but not Chanel, I had already taken the picture though.

I had a day off last week and used it to go to a nearby mall that I never go to, Dadeland Mall in Miami. This was the day I wore the burgandy Skinny pants and the black peplum top from the previous post, so I was looking good and very fall. Like what I used to do in NYC, explore places and the city solo. It was also the day the iPhone 6s came out and I saw the very long lines at the Apple store, which stayed long all the hours I was there. Henri Bendel was one of the stores I went into and loved the blue handbags wall that included the jetsetter backpack.

I thought this tiny purse was so cute and I had to take a picture, love anything small.
I went into Nordstrom and the first thing you notice are the shoes as they are by the entrance and I just had to take a picture of these beauties from Sarah Jessica Parker. I also stayed a while and an associate was helping me try on hats and scarves and taught me new ways to tie a scarf, even turning it into a cardigan. I was looking at the hats since I have been looking for a fall one ever since I tried on that burgandy one from Henri Bendel in the flagship store in NYC last year.
As I kept exploring the mall, I noticed an area that I had never stepped foot in and they had a macaron kiosk. I have never tried them and always wanted to, so I headed that way. They had a lot to chose from and other confections.
I chose three flavors...Madagascar Black Vanilla, Rose Lychee and Orange Chocolate Grand Marnier. I will have to say hands down the best was the vanilla, I was in heaven when I was eating that one.
I also received a free sample, which I have yet to try from Orogold.
I went into JCPenney just to look around until I headed to the jewelry section. At first I liked a ring and was going to get it even though it was a size 7 and I'm a 6 that was silver and blue that looked like a Zales ring I saw years ago, but this one was $18 on sale. Then I stumbled onto this beauty that was only a few dollars more and a great addition for my fall outfits as I will be going to NC again at the end of the month.

Friday night, my friends and I were going to go out and this would be my last going out freely before I would start my new job at Macy's, which training would be that coming Monday and Tuesday for 6 hours each. It would also be my first night out back in Miami, we went to the Coral Gables area, which was very packed. Since I had seen my friend the day before where I had left some of my stuff, I was able to wear this new peplum top another friend had given me, but did not fit in my luggage when I left.
I wore a peekaboo peplum top with skinny jeans I had also left behind and my black Payless booties.

I wore a coin like necklace from Avon, stainless steel earrings from Nicaragua, Henri Bendel ring and bangle and my Zetram Designs pearl bracelet.

Excuse the mess, I was staying that week at a friend's house and the room was full of my stuff, her stuff and her mom's.
Turns out my training was rescheduled for today and tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday since their computers were down. My trip that day was wasted and I had worn new ballet flats which are for comfort and made for walking, but they literally killed my ankles since I have to walk and take the bus. Too late to return them now since they are full of blood, it has definitely made walking and wearing shoes difficult. This time I came with sneakers and brought the flats with to change, I really hope I can take the pain.

During my week off, one of my trips was to Target, Marshall's and Burlington Coat Factory, which was not to far from me and I headed there on bus. I looked throughout the store, including the children's section and toys looking for my niece and nephew's Christmas presents, which I will send via USPS to North Carolina, but mostly took pictures of the jewelry and some shoes.

Some very pretty necklaces from top to bottom, great for these upcoming holiday celebrations.

Some chain link loafers that would really go great with my actual chain link bracelet.

Would be nice to rock these before the snow hits the city.

It was a very pretty holiday Barbie and I took a picture to show my mother.

Burlington was my next stop and of course the jewelry is what I see first since it's right by the entrance.

I do love blue.

They have this same design in multiple colors, there was one that was really nice and I was going to take a picture, but one had a missing stone and it was the only pair.

Not sure, but I might go back for this one. It's so lovely and a great shade of blush pink.

Many choices for a bib necklace.

Found a little section of Christmas jewelry and accessories.

This is my first Halloween in NYC, last years was up north in Westchester county. As I mentioned in the last post, there's a Venetian masquerade party that I wasn't sure if I was going or not, but I bought a mask just in case. Well, the event price went up, which is what I get for overthinking it, but I received an invitation from a new friend I made at a previous event for a get together, so I shall be heading there tonight.

Dress from Forever 21 that I've only wore once, which was for my 22nd birthday, faux fur shrug from Burlington Coat Factory, necklace from Avon, earrings from Icing by Claire's, New York & and Company bracelets, Henri Bendel cuff and Venetian mask from from State News, a store in the upper east side.

I shall update when I actually wear my costume, which will be with tights and heels.

Created my Halloween manicure last night with matte black and red nails with a candy corn accent nail.

I had an event last night and needed to look extra nice since it was a family offices cocktail for the wealthy families of New York. I helped set up and served some drinks since it was in someone else's apartment. At least I scored some cash and a giant bottle of wine. I was in a hurry so I had someone else quickly take my outfit pictures right before rushing out.

I wore the strapless black dress I wore for last year's new year, a furry ivory small jacket and jewelry earring and necklace set both from Burlington Coat Factory. My shoes weren't shown, but I wore booties from Payless with black tights from Target. My handbag isn't that visible either, but it's from Burlington as well.

Quickly took some pictures before getting ready for bed, so I was tired.

Had a French manicure, wore my diamond ring and kept the arm candy very simple with just a pearl bracelet because again I was in a rush.

The rooftop had incredible views of the city, the first thing I saw was Central Park and here is Columbus Circle.

Not sure if this was the Rockefeller building, maybe not, but thought it was worth taking a picture of since it had a star on the top.

Times Square was also visible, but the ads were not visible when taking pictures.

Update! Here are some pictures of the purse I wore, which was not visible.
