I had a day off last week and used it to go to a nearby mall that I never go to, Dadeland Mall in Miami. This was the day I wore the burgandy Skinny pants and the black peplum top from the previous post, so I was looking good and very fall. Like what I used to do in NYC, explore places and the city solo. It was also the day the iPhone 6s came out and I saw the very long lines at the Apple store, which stayed long all the hours I was there. Henri Bendel was one of the stores I went into and loved the blue handbags wall that included the jetsetter backpack.

I thought this tiny purse was so cute and I had to take a picture, love anything small.
I went into Nordstrom and the first thing you notice are the shoes as they are by the entrance and I just had to take a picture of these beauties from Sarah Jessica Parker. I also stayed a while and an associate was helping me try on hats and scarves and taught me new ways to tie a scarf, even turning it into a cardigan. I was looking at the hats since I have been looking for a fall one ever since I tried on that burgandy one from Henri Bendel in the flagship store in NYC last year.
As I kept exploring the mall, I noticed an area that I had never stepped foot in and they had a macaron kiosk. I have never tried them and always wanted to, so I headed that way. They had a lot to chose from and other confections.
I chose three flavors...Madagascar Black Vanilla, Rose Lychee and Orange Chocolate Grand Marnier. I will have to say hands down the best was the vanilla, I was in heaven when I was eating that one.
I also received a free sample, which I have yet to try from Orogold.
I went into JCPenney just to look around until I headed to the jewelry section. At first I liked a ring and was going to get it even though it was a size 7 and I'm a 6 that was silver and blue that looked like a Zales ring I saw years ago, but this one was $18 on sale. Then I stumbled onto this beauty that was only a few dollars more and a great addition for my fall outfits as I will be going to NC again at the end of the month.

During my week off, one of my trips was to Target, Marshall's and Burlington Coat Factory, which was not to far from me and I headed there on bus. I looked throughout the store, including the children's section and toys looking for my niece and nephew's Christmas presents, which I will send via USPS to North Carolina, but mostly took pictures of the jewelry and some shoes.

Some very pretty necklaces from top to bottom, great for these upcoming holiday celebrations.

Some chain link loafers that would really go great with my actual chain link bracelet.

Would be nice to rock these before the snow hits the city.

It was a very pretty holiday Barbie and I took a picture to show my mother.

Burlington was my next stop and of course the jewelry is what I see first since it's right by the entrance.

I do love blue.

They have this same design in multiple colors, there was one that was really nice and I was going to take a picture, but one had a missing stone and it was the only pair.

Not sure, but I might go back for this one. It's so lovely and a great shade of blush pink.

Many choices for a bib necklace.

Found a little section of Christmas jewelry and accessories.

Second part of my day off at Union Square, my friend and I went to some nearby stores. She had to leave for work not long after so I was on my own and first stop was DSW. On the windows by the entrance, I saw they had so many nice bags, so I started snapping away, some Anne Klein handbags.

Took this one for a friend since she says Vince Camuto leather is the best.

Didn't get close enough to these to know the brands.

This was the table of Ralph Lauren handbags and some Christmas colors.

Thought this was a great looking Calvin Klein bag.

The wall of clutches.

I was looking at the flats section and got a close up of a Vince Camuto flat.

Thought these were cute, together they spell out Love.

My next stop was Burlington Coat Factory, which was above DSW. This Betsy Johnson purse was so cute because it was tiny and a nice design.

I saw these pair of earrings and fell in love with them, which would be great for fall given the colors and then I saw the same design in other colors, which I also loved since I love blue, but are $1 more for some reason. Didn't buy either of them because I don't know which pair I want more.

And lastly was at Forever 21, trying to find my thanksgiving outfit. I knew I wanted wine colored, so after a very long search I finally found some dresses to try on. Second picture came out kind of blurry, but I took it quickly since there was a long line of people waiting for the dressing room.

My day off, Saturday, I headed to Fifth Avenue again, but this time I was able to go to Bergdorfs, Central Park and The Plaza. I also went to FAO Schwartz and Henri Bendel.

After that whole day of walking, I had a Chardonnay at The Plaza.

Some heels at Bergdorfs.

Handbags.

I always like taking pictures of the mannequins.

I thought these were hilarious! Would wear them as a joke!

Of course the tablescapes.

As I passed by Central Park to head to FAO Schwartz, I saw a long line to get in the park and I wondered why. Turns out that was the day of the Global Citizen Festival, a free concert with lots of performers like Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, Fun, Sting, Beyoncé and some others. Wish I had remembered it was that day because you needed to print out your ticket. I could hear the concert happening, but no way of getting in.

I was taking this picture while I could hear the concert very nearby and my phone battery dying by the second.

Some Christmas ready snow globes at Henri Bendel.

I love tiny things and since small handbags are on trend for this fall season, I thought I'd take a picture.

Last week I took pictures with the black and white ones, now I do the colored ones.

I've been really wanting their business card holder for a long time now and decided to finally get one. They were having a 30% off sale and offering free monogramming at the NY flagship store up until the 29th.

It came out great and I am so in love with it, can't wait to whip it out for networking.

And this was the only one that had the Henri Bendel name right where it was!

My initials, MCG.

Then I headed back on the subway with my metro card. Dog toys at Bloomingdales.
