I was doing some Christmas shopping at dd's discount, which is my new favorite store that has pretty decent items for very favorable prices. This was the first time I went for Christmas shopping and boy was I surprised at how many gift ideas there were. This is the store I go for my scrubs and have found many for work as well as clothes, shoes and accessories for my niece and nephew. The necklace I'm wearing was made by me, the earrings are from Valsan, a store known here in Miami, Target watch and Miss A pearl bracelet.
This first one I found was the perfect style for my boss at the orthopedic office. As a 40 something year old woman who seems to have style, this screamed her name and I was right because she loved it and at the price of $11.99, even better.
This royal blue luggage style tote, I immediately fell in love with for myself, as I am a fan of blue. Not only was it the color and the style I fell in love with, but the price as well, how could you not for $11.99? It is now one that I use almost everyday now.
The black version, shown here with the side zippers closed was for a long time family friend.

I had a day off last week and used it to go to a nearby mall that I never go to, Dadeland Mall in Miami. This was the day I wore the burgandy Skinny pants and the black peplum top from the previous post, so I was looking good and very fall. Like what I used to do in NYC, explore places and the city solo. It was also the day the iPhone 6s came out and I saw the very long lines at the Apple store, which stayed long all the hours I was there. Henri Bendel was one of the stores I went into and loved the blue handbags wall that included the jetsetter backpack.

I thought this tiny purse was so cute and I had to take a picture, love anything small.
I went into Nordstrom and the first thing you notice are the shoes as they are by the entrance and I just had to take a picture of these beauties from Sarah Jessica Parker. I also stayed a while and an associate was helping me try on hats and scarves and taught me new ways to tie a scarf, even turning it into a cardigan. I was looking at the hats since I have been looking for a fall one ever since I tried on that burgandy one from Henri Bendel in the flagship store in NYC last year.
As I kept exploring the mall, I noticed an area that I had never stepped foot in and they had a macaron kiosk. I have never tried them and always wanted to, so I headed that way. They had a lot to chose from and other confections.
I chose three flavors...Madagascar Black Vanilla, Rose Lychee and Orange Chocolate Grand Marnier. I will have to say hands down the best was the vanilla, I was in heaven when I was eating that one.
I also received a free sample, which I have yet to try from Orogold.
I went into JCPenney just to look around until I headed to the jewelry section. At first I liked a ring and was going to get it even though it was a size 7 and I'm a 6 that was silver and blue that looked like a Zales ring I saw years ago, but this one was $18 on sale. Then I stumbled onto this beauty that was only a few dollars more and a great addition for my fall outfits as I will be going to NC again at the end of the month.

Since I had gone to Dadeland mall with my roommate for the Sephora class, I remembered there was a Henri Bendel here and wanted to check it out, since the only one I had been to was the flagship one in NYC. It's a lot smaller than the flagship, but still stocked with many cute things. I went to look around and ask for an application, still trying to land that Bendel job.

I was told they are not hiring at the moment, butbI could still fill out the application and talk to the manager when I bring it back with my resume. This job would be more convenient than the Macy's since it's two busses away and an almost 2 hour total ride, I haven't gone on bus here, but the car ride was 15 minutes. Let's see what happens.
This was meant to be posted on Tuesday, but I've been working all day of everyday and with travel time to and from almost 2 hours each, I barely have time to even sleep.

I was plannig to head to Michael's, which is on the west side and discovered there was also a TJ Maxx and HomeGoods there, hadn't been to TJ Maxx in years. I spent a long time in that area, many hours and a lot of time was spent at TJ Maxx. I ended up looking trough and smelling so many bars of soap, would make nice stocking stuffers, especially for dad since he uses it up fast.

Handbags are divided by colors and I found a tower with all red bags.

Some Kate Spade handbags in many colors, I took a picture of the green one.

A great Ralph Lauren bag, which was taken for a friend since she is a fan.

This sparkly gold clutch would be a great addition to any holiday outfit this season.

At HomeGoods, I immediately fell in love with these stands. A branch like stem featuring leaves at the top and glass to place your holiday treats or appetizers.

And an all wooden one that was at an angle, sorry for my finger on the bottom corner, didn't notice until after I was already back at my apartment and couldn't retake it.

Fell in love with some other stands, these were more sophisticated for maybe a classier party or event. Very gold with glass plate tiers, one in black and the other on red.

Another trip during my week off had to be made to Henri Bendel since they out the tree up just 2 days after I had already gone. This was my first time seeing it in person and I was amazed at the size of the ornaments, which they do sell in regular size, made me love it even more. It was also a good day to keep looking at other holiday windows, which was interrupted by rain and I took refuge inside Bergdorfs.

I actually did do some shopping that day at Bendels, but not sure if it will be a present or if I will keep it.

Loved how grand it was with all the giant ornaments, just wish I had taken a picture the Bendel windows.

One of the many Christmas trees they have at the flagship store with many trinkets underneath.

Love the plaid and fall colors.

It's the real and blue section upstairs.

These lovely earrings caught my eye just before I headed out.

At Bergdorfs, this is always the floor of the first set of dressed mannequins I always take a pictures of when I'm on my way up.

I saw this as I was headed down.

Another mannequin set as I was headed down.

I went to the home section as I always in all the stores and stepped inside the Christmas area, this time I actually looked at the ornaments and this immediately caught my eye as a baker, a tower of cupcakes.

This one was big enough to actually use as a glass, but no one wants to drink glitter.

For the sushi lovers, soy sauce, a piece of sushi and the next picture a tray of sushi.

It was so funny when I saw they had an iPhone ornament, I would say this is the 3GS model.

For the photographers out there, which is so cute.

And the back side, which had an image taken of NYC.

They always have that one amazing tablescape on this floor, this time is was a very rural theme with plaid, wood and deer antlers.

Here is the continuation of my Marshall's trip and secondary store trip along with Macy's. There were many Christmas items for the home like this plate and mugs set.

There's was a snow filled home with decorated trees inside this glass house.

Many tree skirts including some very furry soft ones.

And the fur didn't stop there, there were also some giant furry stockings.

Love the glassware in this store, especially the festive ones to wow and entertain your guests.

The fur continued on some wine "cozies"

Then headed to Macy's and passed by the handbag section.

Then back to another Marshall's and a different Christmas tablescape.

Handbag section again and saw this sparkly backpack.

Kate Spade bow bag.

And now the wine section starting with plates.

Really fell in love with this bottle stopper and very inexpensive.

And lastly wine caddies for very fashionable ladies out there.
