A Sunday off of running around, getting some stuff for the parents for my potential trip to Nicaragua next month, a quick trip to work, seeing my boyfriend for a little bit then hanging with the girls. We did brunch, some free mimosas and some shopping. The temperature outside was lower, so I did a cami with a 3/4 sleeve top on over it, since it's a little big, I belted it. Since I left the house in a rush, I wasn't able to take any proper pictures, I took some at night before getting ready for bed, since I had an early work shift.

Black button up shirt bought at TJ Maxx from the Limited, black skinny jeans from Forever 21, belt was a gift and booties from Sears.
Earrings from Miss A, necklace was part of a top from Rainbow, ring from Charming Charlie, silver bracelet was a gift from Mexico and other bracelets from Miss A.

My sister in law's family wouldn't be arriving until evening a Christmas day, so the festivities wouldn't be until nighttime. So, for the daytime, I had to wear something else in the meantime. Even though it was between 70 and 75 degrees today here in Wake Forest, I wanted to wear my hat and scarf. I stayed mostly indoors, so it was ok and this scarf isn't too hot.

Skinny jeans from Forever 21, black button down shirt from TJ Maxx, brand The Limited, booties from Sears, scarf from Charlotte Russe and hat from JCPenney.
This scarf is actually the same infinity scarf I brought last time, but since it's reversable, I wore the other side this time. One side plaid and the other side squared.
I wore this small belt since this shirt doesn't fit just like most of my clothes, which is from a dress bought at Marshall's.
Earrings were a gift, ring from Beya, watch from Guess, white bracelet from mini in the box and pearl bracelets from Miss A.

It would be another day of running errands and my last full day here in NC, sadly. We were looking at the house again, trying out the new mirrors they bought for the bathrooms. Later we went to BJ'S for some food snd for the Verizon retailer that's inside, then Home Goods to see other mirrors for my sister in law's mom's bathroom, she wasn't thrilled with any of the choices so my brother and his wife suggested the store At Home. We did a quick Hispanic supermarket stop then headed to that store, boy was that store huge, would need a few days to see it all. There was so much selection for many different things including the mirrors. I took advantage and found something to take to Nicaragua for my parent's house, since I'll be heading there for two weeks, I leave tomorrow the 9th, so I will do my best to try and keep posting.

I had first taken some pictures of my outfit in the bathroom then I added the green scarf and had to take new ones. New mustard skinny jeans from JCPenney, striped button up shirt from TJMaxx, brand The Limited and booties from Sears.
New earrings from Forever 21, new necklace from JCPenney and new ring from Beya.
I had bought this ring to wear specifically for this trip as well as the necklace, it was such a pretty ring not to take a picture of with my fall manicure and sangria.

I had been looking for some sort of costume I could do while in NC. I had thought of doing "posh", which is a British term meaning upper-class or wealthy, I watch a lot of British shows and movies, so I've heard this word a lot. I had thought of wearing abother skirt, which was the pleated plaid one and I had gone to Rainbow after work to see what top I could wear with it to create my costume. I only saw two options, but one gave too much of a preppy schoolgirl look and the other was just a plain crew neck sweater top. That night I started playing dress up with what I had and luckily I found the perfect outfit without having to buy anything extra.

Wine colored cupcake skirt from Macy's, stripped button up shirt from the Limited bought at TJMaxx, blazer from Rainbow, booties from Sears and pearl headband from Beya.

I had forgotten to take a picture with my jewelry, so I took it at the end of the night after all the trick or treating. New earrings from Forever 21, ring from Beya, necklace from Forever 21 and the Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls bracelet not visible is from Burlington Coat Factory.

It was just before we would all head out to the small neighborhood get together and the posh look needed to be completed with my sunglasses, which was hard to take since everyone was in front of me and making me laugh.

Another Macy's work day I decided to keep playing with my pencil skirt and create other work outfits. I didn't wear a black third piece, which is what they say they require when wearing a colored top, but I've been testing the waters and no one has said anything. I guess as long as you look professional, it's good.

Hot pink button up from TJ Maxx, pencil skirt from The Limited and sandals from Rainbow.
Earrings from Express, necklace came attached to a top I got from Rainbow, ring set from my wholesaler online and bracelets from Miss A and mini in the box.

I was plannig to head to Michael's, which is on the west side and discovered there was also a TJ Maxx and HomeGoods there, hadn't been to TJ Maxx in years. I spent a long time in that area, many hours and a lot of time was spent at TJ Maxx. I ended up looking trough and smelling so many bars of soap, would make nice stocking stuffers, especially for dad since he uses it up fast.

Handbags are divided by colors and I found a tower with all red bags.

Some Kate Spade handbags in many colors, I took a picture of the green one.

A great Ralph Lauren bag, which was taken for a friend since she is a fan.

This sparkly gold clutch would be a great addition to any holiday outfit this season.

At HomeGoods, I immediately fell in love with these stands. A branch like stem featuring leaves at the top and glass to place your holiday treats or appetizers.

And an all wooden one that was at an angle, sorry for my finger on the bottom corner, didn't notice until after I was already back at my apartment and couldn't retake it.

Fell in love with some other stands, these were more sophisticated for maybe a classier party or event. Very gold with glass plate tiers, one in black and the other on red.
