It was still early 2018 and the cold front was still in Miami, it was 46 degrees and it was finally time to break out the Marchesa Voyage cape coat I've never been able to wear, even if it was just for a few hours in the morning. If you remember my previous posts, I had originally bought this coat for $25 at Ross for an upcoming NC trip, which ended being a warm trip. Never thought I would be able to use it here in Miami and lately there have been more cold fronts, even now in March.

My go to new skinny jeans Bongo from JCPenney, new Tommy Hilfiger knit top from Ross, embroidered Marchesa Voyage cape coat worth almost $600 bought for $25 at Ross and boots from Sears.

I had decided to put up my valentines decor early in January.
A chilly 46 degrees.
For this very pink makeup look, I used Huda Beauty obsessions palette in mauve, eyebrows are Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade in taupe and Everlasting liquid lipstick from Kat Von D in melancholia. Also used Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional primer.

I'm posting still trying to catch up to my current outfits, but I as you know I stopped for a few months, since all I did was work. This look was for the beginning of 2018 and it started off with a cold front in Miami, which I was loving, since it was an all day one and I was able to brush off the dust from my winter clothes.
Skinny jeans Bongo from JCPenney, thermal shirt from Rainbow, poncho from Old Navy and boots from Sears.
Pearls was a wedding gift from my mother in law and headpiece from Miss A. I was wearing my new Huda Beauty obsessions palette in mauve, Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade in taupe and Tartiest quick dry matte lip stain from Tarte.

And as a new year, my husband and I got couples tattoos. I had been wanting one for a while now, just didn't know what I wanted, so when I finally found it, we did it and loved it. This is my second tattoo, my first was "Liebe dich selbst" which is love yourself on my wrist.
I've been really loving this new app called snow, a lot of pretty cool filters and I had to take one with my husband during this cold front.

This would be my last casual Friday look of the year at the orthopedic office and my last day at that job, since things would be slow the following year. I would be called upon when they needed me, so for now it would just be the Publix job. Again it was a chilly day, so I wore another 3/4 sleeve top with tights and booties.
Black button up shirt from Rainbow, striped white and gold cupcake skirt also from Rainbow, opaque tights from Target, booties from Sears and red Kenneth Cole Reaction handbag from Ross.
Earrings from Claire's, necklace from Forever 21, Zales engagement ring, Target watch with bracelets from Miss A and bracelet on other wrist from Burlington Coat Factory.
It was the holiday season, so I did my nails in red and one accent nail.

Last winter it was a chilly day in Miami and a day off from work. Put on my 3/4 sleeve jean shirt with my leggings and my favorite booties along with my pearls.
Jean button up shirt from Target, leggings, booties from Sears and blue handbag from DD's Discount.
Target watch, bracelets from Miss A, earrings from Forever 21 and pearl necklace from no more rack, which no longer exists, but I've seen similar deals on Groupon.

I am writing this as the rain and wind begin here from hurricane Irma and the electricity has been flickering, we will get the worst of it starting tonight and tomorrow, luckily we are no longer in the cone, but we will still get hit with floods for sure. For now this will be my last post until this passes, maybe Monday, let's see if work will resume this day or not. This was during December of last year and I had gone shopping for some new plaid shirts, since I had really liked my blue one, luckily there were still some options left. Again I paired plaid with a pencil skirt, but went for a light colored skirt, I felt it looked better with this plaid top. I was still cooler weather and I was still able to wear my booties.

New plaid top from Rainbow, glittered pencil skirt from The Limited, blazer from Madrag, booties from Sears and blue handbag from dd's discount.

Necklace from Forever 21, earrings from miniinthebox.com, which is a sister company of Light in the Box, kind of like the popular site and app Wish, engagement ring from Zales, watch from Target, bracelets from Miss A and other wrist is a new cuff my fiance at the time got from one of the shows at Fair Expo, which is his second job. He had gotten so many of these, I used them as Christmas gifts for so many people and the rest were given to my mother to give away in Nicaragua, along with hundreds of pens, backpacks and shopping totes

My sister in law's family wouldn't be arriving until evening a Christmas day, so the festivities wouldn't be until nighttime. So, for the daytime, I had to wear something else in the meantime. Even though it was between 70 and 75 degrees today here in Wake Forest, I wanted to wear my hat and scarf. I stayed mostly indoors, so it was ok and this scarf isn't too hot.

Skinny jeans from Forever 21, black button down shirt from TJ Maxx, brand The Limited, booties from Sears, scarf from Charlotte Russe and hat from JCPenney.
This scarf is actually the same infinity scarf I brought last time, but since it's reversable, I wore the other side this time. One side plaid and the other side squared.
I wore this small belt since this shirt doesn't fit just like most of my clothes, which is from a dress bought at Marshall's.
Earrings were a gift, ring from Beya, watch from Guess, white bracelet from mini in the box and pearl bracelets from Miss A.

I had my day off in the middle of the week on Wednesday and I just wanted to go to the dollar store to get a new razor since mine mysteriously went missing. There were so many cool things there and many Christmas things, so I got some presents and a little bit of decor for the new furniture in the room. Since there is a Ross in that same plaza, I thought I'd check it out before I go, I only went to look at things not buy and I ended up spending $85. I went out to buy just a razor for $1 and ended up spending just over $100, but it was gift shopping and I'm very happy with my new stuff. I bought a ticket for NC for Dec. 23 to the 28th, so I can spend my Christmas there and potentially planning a NY trip for next month.

I had seen these Tommy Hilfiger sweater tops and really liked them, I had seen the pink one first and really liked the soft pink color, which is the only shade of pink I like. Then I noticed the teal one and figured, why not get both.
Just trying it on, since I had to get a medium because there were no size small, but it was fine.
And now for the best purchase ever! I was looking through the size small section of one of the racks in the winter section to see of there was anything for my cold weather trips, once I laid my eyes on this cape, I fell in love and even more so with the price!
It's a Marchesa Voyage black cape with embroidered parrots, original price $595 for shopstyle, Ross price $25! Couldn't pass that up.
Got the size 6 as it was the smallest, no size 4 available, but it still worked.
I had looked online for this cape after I bought it to see if the price was accurate and it was. I don't know why Ross was selling it for such a low price because even on eBay I saw one for $150, nevertheless, I'm happy with it.
