At the orthopedic office, on Fridays we could wear regular clothes other than scrubs, casual Fridays, so this would be my first all out outfit. I would be either working at the office in scrubs or Publix in uniform and this was the day I could dress up and I would every Friday. The temperatures during these times aren't too hot in Miami and I am able to wear some fall items as long as I'm not outside too long and since at my desk the air hits me directly, I have to wear a jacket.

The new peplum top was a gift from the same friend that goes to flea markets and swap shops, skinny mustard colored jeans from JCPenney, brand new red Kenneth Cole Reaction handbag from Ross and booties from Sears. Of course I added my Henri Bendel shopping bag key fob to my new handbag.

Necklace is from JCPenney, earrings I made with charms from Micheal's, middle promise ring from Walmart with other rings from Ross, wood bracelet from Nicaragua, watch from Target and new gold bangle style bracelet was a birthday gift from a friend from her travels to Greece, apparently they are all the rage over there and they can be worn on the upper arm as well.

New red handbag I fell in love with at the store, which I went back for the next day since the red crossbody I had been using was falling apart from so much use.

Posting this a little late as it has been another busy couple of days, working, shopping for my upcoming trip, packing and spending time with my boyfriend. I was actually not scheduled to work on Saint Patrick's Day, but they changed it two days before and it was also the day the Fair opened here. I got out of work at about 12:35pm, quickly changed out of my work pants and shoes and headed out. The fair wasn't to open until 3pm, but my friend and I wanted to be there before because of lines, I was getting there even earlier because my boyfriend was going to give me my complimentary admission and POP ticket, which is to get on unlimited rides, since he works there, I was able to the hook up.

I took pictures of each hand as I had different jewelry on each. On the right hand I had my Guess watch, Henri Bendel green bangle and my new "engangement" ring from Charming Charlie.

On the left hand I had a white and green bracelet from Henri Bendel as well and a plastic shamrock ring that is actually a cupcake pick from work. I had removed my acrylics and done a regular manicure, but my nails had become so weak, they would easily bend and the color was chipping off easily. I should've done what my manicurist had suggested, which was gel color.

I had taken this picture on my way to work that morning, which was at around 5:35am.

I was finally at the fair after so many years of not going. I tool some pictures on some rides like the tilt a whirl and the ferris wheel.

This past weekend I was actually off and didn't have to work, for the first time in 8 months. It was Friday, Saturday and Sunday and it felt weird, but nice. Saturday I decided to stay over where I used to live, which is near my boyfriend, so we were able to see each other that day and the next. It also felt weird to be staying in my old neighborhood, much louder than where I'm living now. The following day, Sunday, I decided to go for a walk and see of there was anything for rent or cars for sale, but none of the places had any signs. I had to go to where the supermarket is to see for rent ads and I was able to get a few numbers.

This was one of the dresses I had bought on my dress outings with my friend and finally found a day warm enough and a day I was off to wear it, which was yesterday. It's a very casual and simple dress, but I made it nicer with my accessories, which had my friends asking where I was going, but I was not going anywhere. Just went to see my boyfriend for a bit on his work break and just stayed in watching some movies on Netflix. Since I didn't have to work amd it was hair washing day, I wanted to just try a new look for a little bit before dying my whole head, so I dyed my bottom half of my hair, the tips in blonde or so I thought would come out blonde. This was the same color I would use before for my roots when I was very blonde, but apparently this time it didn't take even though I left it on for 45 minutes and it only slightly lightened my hair, which can only be seen in the sunlight as you can see in the pictures.

The sun had come back some, so you can only see the ombre a little bit. Hopefully I can fix my hair this week on my off day.

I have noticed in my pictures that my hair has been getting lighter again on its own like all the other times I've dyed it darker. My hair had a lot of blonde in it before, so it tends to get lighter with every wash.

The first official cold front arrived in Miami, it would be in the 60s in the morning and the high would be 70 degrees. I took advantage and wore one of the tops that were a Christmas gift in NC, the one I had only wore for Christmas night with the stripped cupcake skirt. Instead of wearing a jacket or sweater, which I don't have, I opted for a scarf instead as I would be taking three buses to get to the clinic I needed to go to. I left the house at 6:25am to hopefully arrive just before 8am, which is when they opened so I could be the first one there as I didn't have an appointment. I ended up getting there at about 8:20am because of late buses, in car I would get there in 25 minutes max, but with buses it takes a very long time.

I had left the house very early in the morning,  before the sum had come out, so I didn't take any outfit pictures at that time until I came back and by then I has removed my scarf as it had warmed up. I was only able to take this one with it, in the bathroom of the clinic.

The day after Christmas amd again I wore a shirt that was my present. I had received two shirts that were the same, but different colors, one in Ivory and the other in blue. This day I wore the blue one as it was a warm time and I had brought only cold weather clothes, so these gifts worked out perfectly. I belted it because it was a little loose even though it was a size small, but maybe these sizes are for older women, still worked though.
