Second part of my NYC farewell was implementing for the second time my new tradition of going to The Plaza. Walking around inside and having a mimosa, but this time it was Christmastime so there was more to see.

The amazing skylight in the tea room.

Thought I would get this gorgeous chandelier with the amazing ceilings, which was right by the tree.

It was my first time seeing their Christmas tree in person.

Had my $11 mimosa, I forget to ask for price before ordering it.

A little tree on the side when I was headed back.

Central Park in the wintertime.

Found some amazing ornaments in one of the little shops at Bryant Park, this was the wine tree with tiny wine bottles and glasses with "wine" inside.

Great for the group of wine drinking friends.

They had so many stylish ones like heels and matching handbags.

This was my last day in NYC on Sarurday and I wanted to wear my new pearls. Even though I would be wearing a scarf and it wouldn't be seen, I still wanted to wear it. It was kind of a bitter sweet day, happy to be leaving my low paying job, seeing my friends in Miami and my parents in Nicaragua, but sad because I was leaving the cold, leaving my new friend and not exploring the city anymore.

I wore a black thermal underneath, a fuzzy silk trimmed sweater like top from a friend, Duane Reade leggings, JustFab boots, real pearl necklace from nomorerack and Forever 21 red coat.

This top has a really long silk neck thing and I never knew what to do with it, which is why I would never wear it, but this time I got creative and made it into a scarf.

A closer shot of my pearls, pearl earrings from Burlington, stack ring I found online and my favorite Chanel lipstick, which has been discontinued and I'm running out of.

I was saying goodbye to the friend I made, we were at Bryant Park since she works there. So sad to be leaving her behind because she was amazing!

The last time I had this view.

On my only and last day off on the job, which wasn't even a full day, I went to Blommindales and noticed I had never seen their holiday windows.

They had a New Years display which was a mini version of the ball drop, which actually went down, here is the sequence.

This was the cutest thing I've ever seen, tiny handbag from Tory Burch!

I've never actually stayed on that floor and looked at the special occasion dresses, this time I did. Really liked the skirt part of the one on the far right.

I fell in love with this white dress!

As I was walking by, I saw this outfit in the Ralph Lauren section and thought I would totally wear that.

Passed by the Kate Spade shop inside Bloomingdales.

Also the first time I went deeper into the home section where the glassware is and they had many Christmas tablescapes.

I have silver chargers, so I can try to do this tablescape.

Very nice with the glass pieces chandelier above.

Wednesday night I went to Henri Bendel's VIP shopping event that ran from 5-8pm. They offered champagne and very tiny cupcakes while you shopped, since this was my first Henri Bendel event, I asked my boss to get out earlier to be able to go to an "event". It started snowing in the afternoon and it went on into the night, but that wasn't stopping me from going. Some sparkly clutches to match my sparkly nails and bubbles.

I do love looking at the Christmas section with ornaments and nutcrackers.

Loved how these sparkled.

I might've gone a little crazy with the shopping. Had some items gift wrapped, in which one was monogrammed.

I finally got my ornament and keychain, been wanting them for a while now.

Now have to somehow attach it to my red crossbody since I like to show my nice keychains.

Went to the jewelry section where the last of the third party sellers are 75% off and got some bracelets. Two row bracelet in green and clear.

Red version, but with three rows.

Very Christmas when worn together. I also got the taxi snowglobe version ornament, but since it's a gift, it was gift wrapped at the store before I took a picture. Same goes for the monogrammed NY skyline luggage tag for a friend. Both will be traveling since one is in North Carolina and the other in Miami.

They were giving a free candle set if you spent $250 or more, but since I spent over $100 they gave it to me anyways, which I was excited for since I wanted to get this for my mother.

Later on Saturday night while walking near the New York Public Library, I came across the beautifully lite Lord & Taylor. I started snapping away pictures of their window displays and building, which also had music playing. I had never been inside this department store or even knew where it was located, but I had seen people with their shopping bags from there, never knew it was so big with many floors.

They had so many window displays, even some small ones, but didn't get any pictures of those and I was not the only one taking pictures that night.

This is of the same display, but different lighting.

It's the Chrismas mice getting everything ready for the upcoming holidays.

I started with the jewelry which I always love looking at and thought these Kate Spade pieces were gorgeous.

On one of the floors, which had the cocktail and evening dresses, had many on mannequins and I just started snapping away since I was unable to take any pictures of my Saturday outfit, but it was a repeat so no worries. I had to run out of the apartment and to the subway because I was running late for an appointment I had scheduled to meet with a school, which I might be attending in January if I'm still here or if I decide to stay.

I always love looking at the Christmas section of every place.
