This was my last day in NYC on Sarurday and I wanted to wear my new pearls. Even though I would be wearing a scarf and it wouldn't be seen, I still wanted to wear it. It was kind of a bitter sweet day, happy to be leaving my low paying job, seeing my friends in Miami and my parents in Nicaragua, but sad because I was leaving the cold, leaving my new friend and not exploring the city anymore.

I wore a black thermal underneath, a fuzzy silk trimmed sweater like top from a friend, Duane Reade leggings, JustFab boots, real pearl necklace from nomorerack and Forever 21 red coat.

This top has a really long silk neck thing and I never knew what to do with it, which is why I would never wear it, but this time I got creative and made it into a scarf.

A closer shot of my pearls, pearl earrings from Burlington, stack ring I found online and my favorite Chanel lipstick, which has been discontinued and I'm running out of.

I was saying goodbye to the friend I made, we were at Bryant Park since she works there. So sad to be leaving her behind because she was amazing!

The last time I had this view.

It was the night of my first Henri Bendel shopping event and it was also snowing, so I had to wear a hat and what better than a polar bear one. When I put on my outfit that morning, I wasn't 100% sure I would be able to go, but when it was time, I just put on some pretty jewelry and headed out the door with my umbrella. I did some shopping as you can see from the bag in the background, you can see my purchases on my previous post.

The black coat borrowed from a former roommate, boots from justfab, polar bear hat was a gift probably from Amazon, leggings from Duane Reade, thermal top from Aeropostale and red crossbody from Marshall's.

Just quickly took this as I came back and the snow had stopped.

I wore the pearl necklace I made, Zetram Designs, new pearl earrings from nomorerack.com and Henri Bendel bracelet.

On the other side I had a glass pearl bracelet, Zetram Designs.

Here is the snowy fountain in front of The Plaza.

A view of fifth Avenue.

For my day off, I headed out with a friend I hadn't seen in a while even though she lives just 6 blocks from me, but our schedules have never coincided. She took me to Union Square, which I have never been too and it was nice. I'm learning to layer better since I don't have a ouch winter clothes and my other clothes are up north with my cousin. I will be heading up there for thanksgiving weekend and will bring back some more clothes.

Wore a long sleeve pink top from Hollister, checkered "top" from Kmart, cardigan from H&M, leggings from Duane Read and boots from justfab. Coat was the one borrowed from my roommate, but I no longer have one so now it's mine and scarf was a gift.

Had my Avon lipstick on, which matched these heart earrings my boss lent me while I work here.

My camis underneath were Forever 21.

And of course a picture of Union Square, the park area.

Just before we went inside the park, there was someone promoting an app by giving away free touchscreen gloves and $10 on the app with a code just for downloading the app. It was a win win for me since I already had the app, which is fever and I needed touchscreen gloves.

That day there were two girls doing interviews for a YouTube video regarding fashion and came up to us, we agreed to do it. They picked two good ones because my friend has bought most of her clothes in Italy and I have a fashion blog, which I did talk about. We provided our emails so they can send us the link when it is ready, hopefully I don't look bad.

For my day off, I headed up north to see my cousin and her family. I dressed casually and comfortably since it would be a kind of long train ride, almost 2 hours. I was running a little late so I had to quickly buy my metro north ticket and run quickly across Grand Central to catch it. My first time running across, so it was kind of fun, but you know what they say, it's only fun the first time.

Wore leggings, red cami from Forever 21, sweater from Express, boots from justfab and new Tommy Hilfiger crossbody bag from Burlington.

Wing earrings I made from Michaels, H&M midi rings and omega necklace I got in Nicaragua.

Quickly took these pictures and headed out.

This was taken in Ossining, right after seeing Sing Sing prison for the first time. The trees have actually changed up here and are actually already falling off, in the city it should start to change this week.

This was at their place, last time I was here, it was all full of snow.

On a Costco run last week, I discovered a shopping center that had Target, Marshall's, Burlington Coat Factory among others, so on my day off I headed there via a bus. It wasn't a cold day so I only wore my little jacket.

I wore leggings, a long black lace top from Wet Seal, sleeveless jacket from Forever 21, boots from justfab.com and Anne Klein purse from Marshall's.

Finally wore my new H&M necklace along my their midi rings and spiral earrings that used to belong to my mother. Wore my favorite Chanel lipstick of course.

Wore my Guess watch, a New York and Company bangle, pearl bracelet from Zetram Designs and a Henri Bendel bangle.

The day before I took a walk in Central Park, which was nice and I should do this more often.
