Birthday Lunch Date

This was for my birthday lunch with the girls, some of which I hadn't seen in over a year. It was five days before my birthday and I wanted to show off my new skirt I had ordered online, now that I'm getting older, I'm liking the more lady-like look with longer skirts, a-line shape, pearls and more covered up. I am a married woman now, something I'd never thought I'd say if you knew me.

New a line black skirt from light in the box, black cami from Forever 21, blue handbag from DD's Discount and sandals from Rainbow.

Freshwater pearls necklace from no more rack, which no longer exists, but similar can be found on Groupon, freshwater pearl and Swarovski crystals bracelet from Burlington Coat Factory, pearl and green bead bracelet Zetram Designs made by me, Payless earrings and Amazon watch.

Outdoor Wedding Reception

My friend's big day had finally come and it was going to be a long day for me, since I had to wake up at 3am to work to then party all night long.

New striped dress from Ross, Lela Rose heels from Payless and the clutch I wore which is not shown was from Burlington Coat Factory.

I had forgotten to take a "view from the top" picture of my shoes, so I took one when I arrived at the reception, since there was still some daylight out.

New earrings from Payless, new necklace from Mirina Collections, ring from Charming Charlie, black bracelet made by me, Zetram Designs, Target watch and bracelet worn on the other wrist with pearls is from Burlington Coat Factory.

My gel manicure to match my dress for that night, which I did a few days before.

Pretty in Blue

My day off this past Wednesday and I had my second two hour driving class that morning. It was a little chilly outside outside and I wanted to wear a skirt, so I wore black tights underneath and a 3/4 sleeve top. I had only worn this new skirt once before and first time wearing this outfit combination, it was a nice blue on blue.

Blue brocade top from Nine West, blue skirt from Ross, skinny belt is from a dress from Marshall's and booties from Sears.

Earrings from mini in the box, pearl necklace made by me, Zetram Designs, rings from a Forever 21 set, watch from mini in the box, silver bracelet from Mexico and other bracelets from Miss A.

This time my driving class consisted of many errands and pit stops for my instructor, so I took some pictures while I waited for him in the parking lot.

I just wanted one with me behind the wheel as this is the first time I'm taking the steps to getting my license for the first time, very overdue. After my class, I went ahead and got a new manicure as the one I had done a few days before had gotten ruined.

Stripped with Pearls

I had seen my friend the day before and she gave me some clothes again, this top was amongst them. I wore it for work and since I had some time before because I tend to go to the mall earlier, though this time I headed to the mall near the one I work at because that one has the store Wacoal and I wanted to see if they had better deals and more variety than Macy's. Which they did because it is the actual store, I was able to get a pink bra and replace my current bikini top with another bra sized one. The one I had been using was bought in Orlando years ago and had no idea how to replace it until now. I was also really excited that I had the option to get a pink bra, actual color and not black, nude or white. Since I was trying them on, I took advantage and took full outfit shots in the dressing room.

Striped top was a gift, black skinny jeans from Walmart, sandals from Rainbow and headband from Beya.

I still had some time before work when I headed to the mall I work at, so I went to Sears to look around. I had seen a sweater like this on instagram and really liked the look, it was in the same color too. I got a small, but when I tried it on, it didn't fit like a small more like a large and there were no smaller sizes. For the look I wanted, it needed to be tighter, so I didn't take it.

Chevron Printed

I received many presents for my birthday this Monday and already started planning them for my work outfits, the top and the earrings were some of them. The top was an extra small, but looked bigger and definitely fit me and since it was a high collar and a print, no necklace was needed, just bold earrings to complete the look. I went with these earrings from the bunch, since it had pink to go with the top.

Macy's top for Macy's work day and pants from Express. Another associate actually commented that she liked my top as I was leaving and I let her know it was Macy's.

Backup Lace Crochet

This would be a Friday Macy's work day wearing a new black top that was bought in case I changed my mind on wearing the other one for my brother's graduation, but I stayed with the other one as I made it work. It is a bit short, so I had to wear it with my higher waisted black pants and even then it was still a bit short and would show my stomach if I reached up, but at work I only need to reach down. It has see through lace type crochet at top of the front and all see through on the back, so I brought a cardigan in case it wasn't appropriate for work, just didn't take pictures with it.

Lunch Date

I was going to see a friend I hadn't seen for over a year to catch up and our schedules have been conflicting and very busy, but I finally made time on my last free weekend or half free until who knows when.

Maroon peplum lace top from Nicaragua, skinny jeans from a store in Miami and sandals from Payless.

These are new sandals I had to buy one day I went to do my training at Macy's, but the flats I had on killed my feet literally as they were very bloody, so I bought these to switch them out immediately.
