I was tired of the blonde and one of my employers doesn't allow blue hair, so I went for the next best thing...gray hair. To showcase it more, I went for blue accessories including my makeup and I have to say, it's been my best so far.

Bongo skinny jeans from Sears, tank top underneath from Forever 21, black lace top was a gift and blue sandals from Rainbow.

Earrings from Walmart, necklace from Miss A as well as the pearl bracelets, watch from Amazon and blue gemstone bracelet from DD's Discount.

I was in process.
It did not come out as I wanted, since I wanted a whole even color, but it wasn't that bad. I've been told I need to get my hair white in order to pick up the gray color, I don't know how that is going to happen, but I will keep trying. To tie this loom together, I paired it with blue jewelry, my Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in requiem and my Morphe Brushes Jaclyn Hill palette with a blue color on lower lash line.

Not all the pictures fit into one post, so I dividing them into my wedding day and my reception. I put some pictures into a collage from my wedding day post, the outfits, getting married and the decorations. I could not have asked for a better day, all we needed was each other and looking good didn't hurt either. Lately I haven't really been dressing up, just work and uniforms, so it felt nice to finally get really dressed up, even if it was only for 2 hours. I had planned a nice reception outfit to wear, both new items as well, which was saved for this post.
As I had mentioned, a little recap here with the pictures from the previous post. I actually really liked how my DIY decorations turned out with the burlap, lace, hydrangeas, wood and blue accents.
For the AM reception, which was right after the court, it was only my mom, my new husband and his parents. We had bought some appetizers and some food to serve, which was very much enjoyed, especially the mini quiches.
Again as I had mentioned in my previous post, I had discovered this blue sparkling wine on instagram and needed to have that as my toasting "champagne". My husband popped open that bottle and served. I had only bought two champagne flutes for us, luckily I bought some plastic wine cups last minute for everyone else.
We took two "cheers" pictures, one here with my mother taking the picture and the one below this one with my mother in law taking the picture. It was actually pretty good wine, we don't really drink, so it was actually a success.
I had changed into a peplum lace top that was tucked in my high waisted striped a line skirt from Rainbow, small was the only size available and I had to squeeze into it. I kept the same jewelry and shoes on. Pearl necklace was a gift from my mother in law, earrings from Valsan, double strand bracelet from Miss A, freshwater pearl bracelet from a local jewelry shop and shoes from Amazon.
It was around 8pm and we were all already relaxing and watching a movie when my cousin had asked if it was ok for her to come over, since I had invited her earlier that morning to come over. She was getting out of work and on her way when she asks if her mom can come as well, I said sure. Just a few minutes later, a longtime family friend asks tells me she is on her way over, since she had also worked until late that day. We were all here celebrating when my cousin tells me her dad got off work and he was also on his way over. Long story short, we ended up having two receptions that day, would've been nice if I knew, since a coworker would've liked to come over.
Luckily we still had lots of food leftover, we fed everyone and we still had the second bottle of blue wine to pop open with them, so it all worked out. It was a great day my husband and I will always remember.

It had been a while since I had gone out for anything social, now a days I don't have much of a social life with work, housework and errands. I had worked many long hours that day, but didn't have to work the next day, so I accepted my roommate's offer to go to her friend's graduation dinner. We went to a sushi place and afterwards it was a night of dancing, which I had missed doing. We ended up getting home at about 3am, which is extremely late for me as I've gotten used to going to bed at about 8:30 or 9pm to wake up at 4:30am. It was nice to go out and have some fun, but I realized also that it is not my scene anymore and I'd much prefer a nice and quiet night in, guess that means I'm getting older.

Red lace crop top from Rainbow, skirt from Ross and booties from Sears.
Earrings were a gift, necklace from Forever 21, middle ring from Beya and thin side rings from Forever 21, red bracelet from Miss A, stainless steel bracelet was a gift and Guess watch.
Bracelet worn on other wrist featuring Swarovski beads and freshwater pearls from Burlington Coat Factory.

I've been trying to find the time to work on this post and publish for days now, but with work, errands, a boyfriend and shopping for my upcoming trip, I haven't had any free time. I had stayed over where I used to live, since I had a day off.

Lace top was a gift, skinny jeans from Forever 21, new belt from Target and sandals from Rainbow.
Necklace and earrings set from Forever 21 as well as the ring, which is part of a set, watch from Target and bracelets from Miss A.
Later in the day I was really hot, so I walked over to the supermarket for some cool down supplies like beer and ice cream. Of course not eaten or drank together.

On another day off, my friend and I went to look for dresses again, I wanted to see of there were other options since the necklace I want to wear that night would work a lot better with a strapless dress. We went to Ross again to see if they had other choices, which they did and my friend had a lot better luck this time finding dresses to try on. I went ahead and got many to try on as well to have some fun. I first tried on this simple black dress, too casual for the party, but otherwise nice. The necklace I was wearing was a gift, the earrings from Miss A and the sandals from Rainbow.

I had seen this strapless dress last time that is of the same material as the cupcake skirts I've bought, so this time I decided to try it on and actually really liked it, so I bought it.
This was another nice strapless dress, but this one was flowy, I kind of liked it, but wasn't too crazy about it.
Another flowy strapless dress that I wasn't too crazy about, just wish I could switch the top part of this dress with the last one because it fit better.
I had gone to the Ross that was near me before meeting up with my friend a few days later and had found the pink version of the black lace dress I had bought. I tried it on as it was a medium and the black dress I bought was a small, but it still fit well and I bought it. Trying to add some color into my wardrobe as I tend to wear a lot of black. I would just need to wear light colored undergarments for this one.

My friend got married at the end of last month and is having her reception party at the end of next month, so my other friend and I went to the mall on one of my days off to try and look for dresses for the event. Maybe it's a bit early, but we like to plan ahead and our first stop was Ross. I first tries on this strapless dress, but the skirt part was a bit weird for me, so that was a quick no. The earrings I wore that day are from Miss A and sandals from Rainbow.

Second dress was another black choice with a lace neckline. Nothing special about it, so again that was also a no.
Another black choice, but this one was all over lace and a bodycon dress. I really liked this dress, so I did buy it in case I didn't find another dress for the party.
A small break from all the black was this top and skirt looking dress in blush pink, but it was more of a work dress, so I didn't get it.
We then headed to Burlington Coat Factory to try on some more dresses. I found two, but this one was actually nice, which even had pockets, but the price was a bit too steep.

I had been working a lot and even on my days off I had so many things go do because I am trying to go to school. I had been doing laundry all day, since I hadn't had time to do it in a long time and my roommate had told me she, her sister and my other friend would be going out that night to Blue Martini and I was invited. Since now my new norm has been to be alone at home and just dance with a few drinks, she invited me out so I could not dance alone. I didn't really want to go out, but I had agreed I would pregame with them here at the house. My friend had brought Fireball, which is a whiskey I had been wanting to try that is popular, once I had a shot of that, my personality completely changed. I was dancing to my music I had started playing and then I decided I would go out with them. My roommate had bought me this jumper for me to wear for New Year's before she knew I would be working and wouldn't be celebrating because of it and had suggested I wear this for this night.

New jumper is from a little boutique. Y roommate found, the brand is Do+Be amd shoes from Payless.
It was actually a fun night with a lot of dancing, but I suffered the next day at work, I was so tired, but I managed.
Earrings from New York and Company, watch from mini in the box and my own necklace from Iraq.
I was still trying to take other selfies and that's when my friend walked out into the living room and called me out on it right when I was taking the picture, so I couldn't help but laugh.

It was just before hair washing day, so I put it up in a bun for work not knowing it would be my last day as a blonde. I had been thinking about going darker for a while, but still had an extra blonde hair dye in the bathroom, when my roommate asked if she could use it to give herself an ombre, that was my ticket. For this workday I wore my peplum with a cardigan and my new pearl necklace that was part of my birthday gift from my friend, I had been looking for a day to wear it.

Peplum top bought in Nicaragua, skinny chinos from Walmart and cardigan from H&M.

Earrings from Burlington Coat Factory, necklace from Miss A as well as the double stranded pearl bracelet, pearl bangles were a gift.
