My friend's big day had finally come and it was going to be a long day for me, since I had to wake up at 3am to work to then party all night long.

I had forgotten to take a "view from the top" picture of my shoes, so I took one when I arrived at the reception, since there was still some daylight out.

My day off this past Wednesday and I had my second two hour driving class that morning. It was a little chilly outside outside and I wanted to wear a skirt, so I wore black tights underneath and a 3/4 sleeve top. I had only worn this new skirt once before and first time wearing this outfit combination, it was a nice blue on blue.

This time my driving class consisted of many errands and pit stops for my instructor, so I took some pictures while I waited for him in the parking lot.

I just wanted one with me behind the wheel as this is the first time I'm taking the steps to getting my license for the first time, very overdue. After my class, I went ahead and got a new manicure as the one I had done a few days before had gotten ruined.

I had to work for New Year's eve and New Years day, so I wouldn't be having a celebration. I didn't have to go in until 2:30pm, so I dressed up for a bit with blue and some glitter. Even though I would be working, I still wanted to feel festive and celebrate the new year with my new star like earrings, new glitter eyeshadow and new Happy New Year necklaces.

As I was taking outfit pictures, I had a little photobomber that came out in most of my pictures, couldn't crop him out of this one.

Today is a day off for me and I am able to blog about today's outfit. Again I wanted to wear my new sparkly blue sandals, so I wore blue again for the rest of my outfit. I was planning to go to some stores for the rest of my Christmas shopping and also look around, last week I had decided I would go to Charming Charlie, which is at a plaza with a Marshall's, Nordtrom Rack, New York and Company and World of Beer. Then today I just decided to go to my nearby Walmart and find some home decor items and new jeans that actually fit, but as I was walking to the stop, I missed my bus and just went to CVS and Rainbow to kill some time until the next bus. While there I just decided I would stay at that plaza and then head home, left Walmart for another day. I looked round Rainbow for some gifts and new clothes for me, I found 2 thermal long sleeves for my upcoming NC trip, one in dark blue and the other in my color, black. I also found some jewelry for a friend and mini purse perfumes as gifts, there were also some other perfumes that would be great as gifts, but left it for next time. While I was shopping around, I thought I would go to the nail salon in this same plaza and see if I do some acrylics, which I have only done once and many many years ago.

Necklace and earrings set was a gift and handmade, sterling silver freshwater pearl ring was a gift from my mother while I was in Nicaragua, watch from mini in the box, small pearl bracelet from Miss A, Henri Bendel bangle and bigger pearl bracelet was borrowed from my roommate.

Again I wore my new Revlon blue eyeshadow, but this time on the crease and blended with brown for a darker look.

I had liked the price for the acrylic nails so I decided to do them and they came out pretty nice. Will take some time to get used to though and will be difficult to work with them at the bakery, but I wanted to do them, since my natural nails were very broken and uneven, so I opted for this. Although I did realize when I got back home that it will be very difficult with putting on and taking off my contacts, lets hope for the best.

I've bought a few new beauty products and can now say a few things about them, which includes some Chanel, Revlon and e.l.f. I bought a Chanel lipstick to replace my discontinued color from years ago and the purchase came with a free sample of mascara, which I finally tried and I have to say I love! The mascara makes my lashes stand out more and of course the lipstick is heaven, I leave them for special occasions.

I first put on my lipstick and mascara for a boat trip with my friend and my parents I'm Nicaragua.

I had bought this mineral infused fave primer from e.l.f. as it was only $6 compared to the $15 primer I had been using from Sephora, which I did love, but it was just too much and I had to replace it too often. I thought if try this less expensive option to see if it was a better option and it was.

Works just as well as the $15 one amd it is lasting me longer, not to mention the price tag is better.

I was at CVS with my friend after work and we had checked what coupons we had on the coupon machine and a Revlon coupon was printed for $3 off with no minimum purchase, so I'd thought I could get a $3 product for free and I found this eyeshadow for $3.19. In the end it was 19 cents and I got it in a pretty light blue to add to my colors.

I tried it out 2 days later on my day off with another blue eyeshadow I have, Chanel mascara and lipstick with many blue accents in my outfit like my new bejeweled sandals, which is mentioned in my last post.

I had gone to Rainbow with my friend after work, since she came to stay over and she visited me while I was ending my shift at Publix. We went to look for Christmas gifts and I found some really pretty bejeweled sandals in different colors. I thought of one for a friend and one for me, when I saw the beautiful blue color, I knew I had to have it and I got it, the pair for the gift were in silver. The next day was one of my days off and I really wanted to wear my new sandals, so I added other blue accents. I put on this shirt that I hadn't worn in a very long time, not since before the weight loss and I was shocked when I put it on. The stretch waistband was very tight before and now it didn't even stretch at all.
