My roommate and another friend had made plans for Sunday brunch, I had to make sure I wasn't working before I could join them and I wasn't. I had only done brunch in NYC, so this is the only way I know how to dress for them which was a bit too fancy for Miami brunch, but I won't change it for anythig. We were having brunch at a place in Sunset called rok:brgr where they offer free mimosas for ladies from 10 am to 3pm......I ended up having too many and I suffered the next day at work, my shift started at 6am. My coworkers knew of my Sunday plans amd asked how it went, the whole day was all about mimosas, they just loved taking about it.

Peplum top was a gift, new skinny jeans from the new Forever 21 location in Town and Country, blue sandals from Rainbow, floppy hat from Old Navy and trapeze handbag bought in Nicaragua.
Earrings were a gift, freshwater pearl necklace from no more rack, new ring from Charming Charlie, watch from mini in the box, bracelets from Miss A and Chanel lipstick.
I was really loving my new ring and so was my roommate as she melt trying it on and took pictures with it. I also switched up my nails by added gold glitter polish to some of the nails.
Here we were, my roommate and I being twinsies with floppy hats as I lent her mine so we can match, toasting with our free mimosas.

This was another Macy's work day outfit, I've been wearing many, but have not been able to take any pictures. My mother was here for a week last week and I was either working or busy doing things with her. I wanted to wear my new necklace and since it was turquoise, everything else was that color as well.

I wore Express pants, black ruffle top was a gift and sandals, which are not shown are from Rainbow.
Headband from Scünci, earrings were a gift, necklace was also a gift. As I've mentioned before, my friend gets me many things from garage sales.

Watch from Target, silver bracelet was bought in Mexico and bangle from Henri Bendel.
I had done my nails the day before, so it just happened to match with the jewelry, I used my new polish from Revlon Parfumerie in surf spray and fresh linen.

I was spending a week in Miami and it happened to be Christmas time. I hadn't seen my friends in over a year and we were planning on dressing up for the 24th and then do an ugly sweater party for the 25th. I decided to wear the dress I had bought for thanksgiving, but didn't wear because it became casual. I was planning on doing wine with green accessories and since I came down to Miami, I was able to do green heels as well. I didn't get many pictures because I didn't have enough time before when we all got ready and then my friend helped me out by taking some full body shots while our other friends stepped outside, but then she got a creepy shot with my friend's teenage brother who decided to photobomb, became the highlight the next morning, creepy prom picture as everyone kept putting it.

Wine colored Forever 21 lace dress, Avon necklace, 2 Henri Bendel green bracelets and Fioni green heels from Payless, which sadly broke from being in storage for so long and had to thrown out because they broke. Was only able to wear them twice and they were comfortable heels, which is hard to find, I need for find another pair like those.

My nails were also green, which I had done before I left NYC.

Everyone with their ugly sweaters on the 25th.

These are some of my excursions for Friday morning, Friday night and Saturday. Since Friday I got out of work earlier and Saturday is my day off. I went to the Waldorf Astoria, Bloomingdales, Henri Bendel, MoMa, Magnolia Bakery and Rockefeller building.

Early Friday attire.

It was early on, on my walk and I had gotten off at another stop, 51st and I stumbled across the famous Waldorf Astoria, I had only seen it in movies and tv, so of course I headed inside.

They have some shops including jewelry, which is what I was looking at. Thought these earrings were beautiful and they had them in blue too. These were diamonds and emeralds.

I went to Uniqlo's flagship store and discovered that MoMa is free on Fridays from 4-8pm. So I had a snack and headed there, which was nearby, I was only able to see a small part since I got there kinda late and they close at 8. I definitely need to come back to see the rest.

Later that night...

The next day, since I always love checking out the Christmas stuff and since my stop is right by Bloomingdales, I thought I'd check and see if they had it up. I actually got there 7 minutes after the model Cara Delevingne was there.

I fell in love with this ornament, three cupcakes on a stand, since I'm a baker.

I headed to the Magnokia Bakery inside Bloomingdales and had a coconut cupcake at the suggestion of an employee and some hot cocoa. To be honest, the coconut cupcakes I've made are better, this was too sweet.

Went to Henri Bendel and they have Christmas ornaments out too. This was a 3 piece boxed set, a hat box, a shopping bag and a champagne bottle.

I went inside the Rockefeller building for the first time to go to the observation deck, but turns out it costs $29, so I just kept walking around since they have shops inside. Wanted to check out the Rainbow Room, but it was closed and their website said they open to the public on Sunday's and Monday's. I'm always working until late those days so I guess I may never see it.

Went out with the fam for some pizza on my final Sunday here in Nicaragua, since I will be back in New York the next. Wanted to wear this orange beaded necklace that used to be mine, but is now my mother's and switched out the scarf on my bag.

David Bitton Buffalo jeans, white no brand top, my trapeze bag and a borrowed orange scarf.

Orange bead necklace found at a Miami Goodwill years ago.

Borrowed my mom's new flower bracelet for this arm candy.

Thought I'd share the iced tea I had with my nails.

For Labor Day weekend I decided to wear some neon and shorts since it's the unofficial end of Summer. I actually borrowed this top from my mother's closet as well as the necklace. This was worn yesterday with some green eyeshadow and a green headband, but can't be seen in any of the shots.

Lime green neon top from JCPenney, shorts from Ross, earrings from Zetram Designs and necklace from mother.

Wore a Henri Bendel ring and "bracelet" was actually a wrapped up necklace also from mom.

Green eyeshadow on the crease and pink lipstick from Wet n' Wild.

Of course I had a drink! With my InStyle mag inspired nails from the September issue. The original was with greens called "Preppy Camo", but the only colors I could do it with was with blues.

I received the products I ordered online which were a bangle and stack ring from Henri Bendel, gold iPad mini Smart Cover and iPod 5 case. Had a very Henri Bendel picture moment here with my new rings, bangle, compact and nails. Obsessed much?

Other bracelet and bangles were birthday presents.

Loved that they came in super cute drawstring bags to store them in.

I immediately put the new case on my iPad and I love it, much more light weight and smaller than my previous case.

Of course my lock screen wallpaper is stylish!

The iPod case I ordered was clear so I can put an image in between, but instead came in white, which I have no use for.

Update: trying to improve the case.

Of course my same Miami friend who I had posted about the Ralph Lauren bag also got on the Henri Bendel train. Her first purchase there, a ring.
