On this day I wanted to pair a peplum top with a tight skirt, I liked the look, but would've been better if the skirt was longer. I tried to pull it down as much as I could, but with this material, it just kept riding up. Again since my new handbag is blue, thought it would go great with a dark blue. This was for December, so temperatures here were still not as hot as the normal.

The peplum top is from rainbow, skirt was a gift from a friend, stripped jacket from Forever 21, handbag from dd's discount and booties from Sears.

Necklace came with a top bought at Rainbow, earrings from Forever 21, engagement ring from Zales website, watch from Target and bracelets from Miss A.

I went with my new necklace I had bought the day before for this work day and back to my regular pants, but of course they were really big on me. Since I had some time before starting work, I had to buy some new work pants at JCPENNEY. I tried on the smallest size I found in the woman's work department, which was a 4 and it dif not fit, still too big, so I tried size 5 in the juniors departmental they did fit. Had to quickly buy them and change at work and also remove the stitching in the pockets to be able to put my phone in. The ruffles shirt was a gift, the too big pants are Express and the sandals not shown from Rainbow.

Earrings were a gift, necklace and ring from Beya and bracelet from Miss A.

I had some time outside before heading out and I took this silly picture for a friend and then she asked for a plant selfie, so I did.

I needed to take a picture showing the size difference, I also took another that shows it more, but it also showed my bra more, so I didn't need to post that one here.

This blog post was called ruffles and cops for a reason. My friend had offered some costumes to give and I wanted the cop one, she had warned me it was kinda short, but when I tried it on....it was really short and very slutty. I definitely can't wear that out in public, the shirt goes up and above my boobs when I lift my arms up, but it was fun to try on.

My friend and I picked Friday to go to the capital and see Fast and Furious 7, the only mall we could see it in was Galerias, which is the same mall we saw Insurgent because the other mall dubbes them in Spanish and we wanted to do the VIP experience. I only did it once years ago with Live Free or Die Hard just before I flew back to Miami, it's recliner seats, waiters with menus that offer all kinds of food from burgers to pizza to sushi and there are also drinks, I ordered a half bottle of white wine, which is actually a medium sized bottle, definitely overpriced since I can get the normal sized bottle for $3 at Navarro (Miami pharmacy) in red and this one cost $10. The movie was to start at 1:10pm and we wanted to go early so we could walk around the mall and stores before the 2+ hours movie. We reached the mall at 10:40am and we were asked multiple times where we were going by security guards because the mall was closed, it was saint week last week and that day was food Friday, movie just had to come for this impossible week.

I didn't have time to take full outfit shots and I just took what I could at the mall. I wore jeans from Ross, ruffle top was a gift from that same friend and white sandals are from my mother.

My arm candy was kept very simple with just my Guess watch and the pearl bracelet I made, Zetram Designs. Hopefully one day I can expand my watch collection, since I only have two.

I wore gold stainless steel earrings with pearls, Saks Fifth Avenue necklace and Revlon lipstick in the shade Pink in the Afternoon.
