For Saturday, Valentine's day there was going to be a party to celebrate my mother's birthday, which was on Wednesday and I wanted to dress up. My sickness started on Tuesday, which by then was only a headache and some joint pain, but by Saturday, it had been a 5 day migraine, this time with massive eye pain, fatigue, fever, low blood pressure and just many many tears of pain, It was the worse day of my life. That afternoon I took a pill that the doctor had recommended and I did feel better during the evening. By yesterday, none of the meds were working anymore, so again it was another seriously bad day with it being my 7th day with a migraine, which is why I couldn't work on this post. I finally got diagnosed with a kidney infection because of drinking this contaminated third world water and I haven't been the only one around here.
It has been a very painful week, but I'm finally staring to feel better as I am well enough to blog now. This was the planned outfit for Saturday, so I take the pictures of just the clothes at least. Black lace top was a gift, red skirt from Sears and booties from Payless.
Necklace and earrings set from Burlington Coat Factory.
Pearl bracelet from Zetram Designs.
Bangle part of a set from New York and Company and silver ring bought online.

This Saturday we all had a combined baby shower to go to in the capital, which is Managua and we would be going by car, so I took advantage to dress up and wear heels. This dress was mean t be worn with my black tights, but apparently I didn't bring them, they must've stayed in Miami, so I had to improvise and I wore leggings. Excuse the background, now my parents have buckets to fill up with water in my photo shoot area.

Wore the blue Petticoat Alley dress I wore as my upper east side costume for one Halloween, leggings, booties from Payless and bow belt from another dress.
For jewelry I wore the Swarovki and pearls bracelet from Burlington Coat Factory, one faux pearl necklace that was a gift, other necklace from Saks Fifth Avenue and earrings from Icing by Claire's.
Wore Avon eyeshadow and a new Wet n' Wild lipstick my friend gave me.

I was spending a week in Miami and it happened to be Christmas time. I hadn't seen my friends in over a year and we were planning on dressing up for the 24th and then do an ugly sweater party for the 25th. I decided to wear the dress I had bought for thanksgiving, but didn't wear because it became casual. I was planning on doing wine with green accessories and since I came down to Miami, I was able to do green heels as well. I didn't get many pictures because I didn't have enough time before when we all got ready and then my friend helped me out by taking some full body shots while our other friends stepped outside, but then she got a creepy shot with my friend's teenage brother who decided to photobomb, became the highlight the next morning, creepy prom picture as everyone kept putting it.

Wine colored Forever 21 lace dress, Avon necklace, 2 Henri Bendel green bracelets and Fioni green heels from Payless, which sadly broke from being in storage for so long and had to thrown out because they broke. Was only able to wear them twice and they were comfortable heels, which is hard to find, I need for find another pair like those.

My nails were also green, which I had done before I left NYC.

Everyone with their ugly sweaters on the 25th.
