Here is my Memorial Day outfit for work minus my black cardigan and shoes, I was at the women's Macy's dressing room since I had an hour to kill before work and they were the only stores open before 10am. This was the only picture I took and I took it to show my friend my matching shirts and new socks, red and blue which was a set from Rainbow, which is a fashion store within walking distance of me. I wore 2 camis from Forever 21, I normally wear my Express pants, but they were dirty so I wore the black pants I got in Nicaragua when I had the interview with the call center, H&M necklace, Express earrings and bracelets were a gift.

I also wore this "I've got your six" bracelet which is a campaign partnered with Macy's for Memorial Day to help with veteran homelessness. Both the flag and the bracelet were given at work the day before Memorial Day.
I am so very happy I did decide to look through the racks at Macy's because I found some skirts I had been wanting to get. I had tried one on I'm Nicaragua that was white and mint green stripped, but was $50, which is way over priced especially for over there. These were on the sale racks from 50-75% off, I tried three on, maroon color, stripped and a black one, which was too big so I left that one out. The price on the tags were $7.90 and I was indecisive about getting both or just the stripped one, I decided on just the stripped one. I was at the register when the final price was actually $3.88 with taxes, I was shocked and quickly ran to get the other before having to run to start my shift, I am happy with my purchases and clocked in on time.

I didn't take any full outfit shots any of these days while in Nicaragua, I only took some selfies. For New Years I just took my jeans off and put on an A line skirt with some jewelry.

Selfie with my mother.

For the first day of the year, since family was coming over and I was meeting my cousin's new German husband, I wore a black lace top, Avon lipstick, earrings from Burlington Coat Factory and my new necklace from Saks Fifth Avenue.

For a simple day I wore my gray Forever 21 cami, which I just found out are made in Nicaragua, my owl earring and necklace set and Avon lipgloss.

This day off was different from the rest because my friends from Miami were in town. We were to go with one of the girl's cousin who lives lives in the city and knows her way around and would give us a tour. Let me tell you, it was not your average tour, we went all over the boroughs and she knew a lot. I was to meet up with them at LaGuardia and that was my first time making that trip on public transport, which was subway and then the bus and I had a small hiccup and went the wrong way for a while, but was able to make it in time.

Of course I wore the Love Culture skirt my friend got me, cami's from Forever 21, cardigan from H&M, tights from Target, shoes from Payless, scarf was a gift from the same friend and the coat was borrowed from my new roommate.

Wore earrings, midi rings and chain bracelet from H&M and bow bangle from New York and Company. It was my first time wearing these and my last since I lost one, I will have to turn the remaining one into a pendant.

Took this as I was heading out to explore by myself for a bit before heading to the airport.

We went all around New York, different parts of Queens, different parts of Brooklyn and different parts of Manhattan.

The Egyptian area of the Met.

We went to see Death Becomes Her, which is showcasing woman in mourning during Victorain times. There was a lot of black of course and even we were all wearing black.

The Christmas tree is up on Rockefeller Plaza and the lighting ceremony will be December 3rd, which I will try my best to see it in person.
