I called this post black on black on black because it was a lot of black on black going on, from the top to the pants to the booties to the bra to the panties to the socks, it was just a lot of black. I do really like wearing black, but this just happened for that day. Since for Macy's the ideal work wear is all black, I went with it on this day and more. I bought new booties the day before, which are the type I've been looking for more casual wear, since the ones I have are heeled and for more elegant events. The peplum top is from Rainbow, skinny jeans from Walmart backpack from Payless and booties from Sears.

Earrings were a gift, necklace from no more rack, which is now choxi, ring from Beya and bracelets from Miss A.
A better view of my new booties from Sears that I took the day before I wore them, but the day I bought them. They are from the brand I love comfort and they were comfortable, but since I take the bus and arrive at work earlier, next time I will just put them on when I'm about to start work. It was more than 12 hours with them on and on my feet walking. Although I still kept them on when I got home and started to get ready to go to bed, very comfortable.

A few months ago, I was online and noticed this gorgeous designer dress on Marshall's website and facebook page. I knew I had to have it even if the price was a little high for me at $50. Went to the store with some friends in hopes I would find it, I was very lucky I did because it's very unlikely to find something in their store that you see online and the best part was to have found it for even less, $35.

I wore this for an interview I had at Henri Bendel's flagship store in NYC. A Calvin Klein tweed dress from Marshall's paired with a Madrag blazer, black tights, Payless booties, JustFab handbag, vintage earrings, diamond ring, an Avon necklace and a bracelet made by me, Zetram Designs.

It was my first interview in the city since moving to New York from South Florida and it was the perfect dress for it, warm and my interviewer loved it! Guess watch from Macy's.

The moment I saw the dress on their Facebook page and took a picture.

Juicy Couture I bought when I worked at an optical.

For my brother and his wife's baby shower, since they were expecting a girl, I wore a strapless brown dress with pink accents and a pink short sleeved cropped jacket.

Wore a gold plated over sterling silver necklace and vintage 1928 earrings I'm in love with, both given to me.

Again another pairs of heels that were given to me and left back in Miami, so I don't know the brand.

Strapless dress was given to me and I can't quite remember the brand and the cropped jacket from Marianne when there were still stores in the US.

I made all pink vegan strawberry mini cupcakes for guests. Yum Rum Sweets
