Last night I had my first Meet up event, NYESN: Oct 20th Business Networking Party at Gansevoort Park Rooftop, which is the New York Entrepreneurs and Startup Network. The event started at 6:30pm, but I was still working so I arrived about 35 minutes later. Wish I had taken pictures of the view, but was so busy networking, I didn't get a chance to take any.

I didn't have any one my professional clothes since I didn't get to see my cousin this weekend, so I went out looking for a dress. Well turns out size 4 and medium don't fit me anymore because I keep shrinking. I got a small Merona dress at Target in the work wear section, opaque black tights also from Merona at Target, Payless booties and Forever 21 red coat.

Pictures weren't that great since it was dark out and I was in a hurry, so I didn't have time to keep taking better ones.

Of course since it was a networking party where you market yourself, I wore my designs, Zetram Designs. Pearl necklace,  small pearl bracelet and the big pearl and silver bracelet, which did get a lot of attention.

I was able to get off work earlier on Friday, so I headed out with my new red coat and new boots. The plan was to check out bars in Midtown for all the after work crowds as my boss suggested, but I wasn't exactly sure where to go, so I ended up just walking around...a lot!

New red coat from Forever 21, black tank from Gap, black skinny jeans from Max Rave and brand new justfab boots, which will be shown in greater detail in the another post.

I wore one of my favorite earrings that were a gift.

Had my usual Guess watch, Henri Bendel bangle and cuff, one of the New York and Company bangles from the set and a Zetram Designs pearl bracelet.

Wore some of my H&M midi rings, one of the Henri Bendel rings and my diamond ring from no more rack.

Earlier that day I just wore a red cami from Forever 21 with a vest from Ross.

My boots hadn't arrived yet so I wore other jeans, boot cut.

And later that night, I had some Octoberfest.

I needed a new bra and I know Macy's has my size. I headed to the Macy's at Herald Square on 34th Street, which is the world's largest store as they claim and I had never been there. Well I have to say, it is very huge! Took me hours to see everything, although I also people watched, tried on bras and had lunch at Starbucks, which is on almost every floor.

I took a picture of these Marc Jacobs bags because they look just like the other handbag I wanted in Nicaragua, but it was more expensive so I ended up with the trapeze.

Also took pictures of the Ralph Lauren bags because my friend has the bigger version in white and thought the mini was so adorable.

Some escalators in the store were like this, which had a vintage feel.

I always go to the home section and loved this tea set. My mother would love it

Headed to the basement level and found Izak Zenou's Macy's exclusive collection. Fell in love with a tshirt, but was shopping for other things that day.

Yes! I am a G cup now, I walked in as a 34 DDD and walked out bigger. Not sure when my boobs will stop growing or if I was just wearing the wrong size for a while. I tried on so many and the only ones that fit were the Wacoal brand which are not cheap.

I headed to Forever 21 after Macy's and a nice deal for camis, $1.90 each, so I got one in black and one in red since the ones I have are very old and are breaking. I got one to send for each of my friends back in Miami. I left and went to other stores around the area, but a coat I had seen would not get out of my mind so I went back to Forever 21, tried it on and bought it in red! They had black and navy, but the red would be such a pop of color to my outfits, since I like to wear black a lot.

I tried it on in my room with my new bra and it actually fit very loose, but I guess that's fine since it would be out over layers of clothing. I'm still waiting for the weather to get cool enough to wear it, since it still rises to the 70s. I also ordered some new boots from JustFab that should arrive tomorrow or Friday, just in time for some fun in the city.
