On my only and last day off on the job, which wasn't even a full day, I went to Blommindales and noticed I had never seen their holiday windows.

They had a New Years display which was a mini version of the ball drop, which actually went down, here is the sequence.

This was the cutest thing I've ever seen, tiny handbag from Tory Burch!

I've never actually stayed on that floor and looked at the special occasion dresses, this time I did. Really liked the skirt part of the one on the far right.

I fell in love with this white dress!

As I was walking by, I saw this outfit in the Ralph Lauren section and thought I would totally wear that.

Passed by the Kate Spade shop inside Bloomingdales.

Also the first time I went deeper into the home section where the glassware is and they had many Christmas tablescapes.

I have silver chargers, so I can try to do this tablescape.

Very nice with the glass pieces chandelier above.

These are some of my excursions for Friday morning, Friday night and Saturday. Since Friday I got out of work earlier and Saturday is my day off. I went to the Waldorf Astoria, Bloomingdales, Henri Bendel, MoMa, Magnolia Bakery and Rockefeller building.

Early Friday attire.

It was early on, on my walk and I had gotten off at another stop, 51st and I stumbled across the famous Waldorf Astoria, I had only seen it in movies and tv, so of course I headed inside.

They have some shops including jewelry, which is what I was looking at. Thought these earrings were beautiful and they had them in blue too. These were diamonds and emeralds.

I went to Uniqlo's flagship store and discovered that MoMa is free on Fridays from 4-8pm. So I had a snack and headed there, which was nearby, I was only able to see a small part since I got there kinda late and they close at 8. I definitely need to come back to see the rest.

Later that night...

The next day, since I always love checking out the Christmas stuff and since my stop is right by Bloomingdales, I thought I'd check and see if they had it up. I actually got there 7 minutes after the model Cara Delevingne was there.

I fell in love with this ornament, three cupcakes on a stand, since I'm a baker.

I headed to the Magnokia Bakery inside Bloomingdales and had a coconut cupcake at the suggestion of an employee and some hot cocoa. To be honest, the coconut cupcakes I've made are better, this was too sweet.

Went to Henri Bendel and they have Christmas ornaments out too. This was a 3 piece boxed set, a hat box, a shopping bag and a champagne bottle.

I went inside the Rockefeller building for the first time to go to the observation deck, but turns out it costs $29, so I just kept walking around since they have shops inside. Wanted to check out the Rainbow Room, but it was closed and their website said they open to the public on Sunday's and Monday's. I'm always working until late those days so I guess I may never see it.

This past Saturday was my day off and the first time I could explore NYC since I left in February. I went to Bloomingdales, Henri Bendel and H&M among others, but only took pictures of these. I've been wanting a wine colored floppy hat for fall and when I saw this at Henri Bendel, I had to try it on, so in love with it!

The first thing you see when you enter Henri Bendel, many Carlyle handbags.

I finally got to see the New York skyline collection in person.

So many handbags and all on sale. They was a summer sale when I went, now there is a fall sale.

Thought this bangle was so beautiful, but a little out of my price range. Maybe if I save up, I can get it.

Also really want these and these are a better price. Might get one one of these weeks.

Went to Bloomingdales on 59th and Lex and thought this table set up was cute with the 100% up top.

I like taking pictures of tablescapes and thought I would take a one of this fall one for my mother as inspiration.

I did do some actual shopping at Henri Bendel and H&M.

I got a small gold cuff from Henri Bendel at 60% off during their summer sale.

At H&M I got a big gold chain link bracelet and a set of rings in different colors each.

I had an interview for New York and Company on the upper east side in the city. I had read online it is good to dress for the interview similar to the clothes they sell, so I did. It was a very cold day so The goal was a lot of layering while still looking presentable, goal achieved.

Black Express pants, purple sleeveless top, jacket from Madrag, pearl necklace made by me, Zetram Designs.

Underneath I wore black leggings, a cami and a thermal shirt from Aeropostale.

This is basically the outfit I wore that I created on polyvore, since I didn't get any full shots of my outfit.

Mustard colored coat by Properties.

Before the interview I had a little fun at Bloomingdales flagship store.
